I set-up the sensory table in the kitchen with SNOW for Liv to play with while I was fixing dinner. When I turned around she was in feet first. How could I resist snapping this picture? I love playing in the sensory tables with my kids, but when I am cooking dinner they are a great alternative to TV or iPad to keep them at bay until we sit down to eat.
Dinner time is one of the most difficult times listed by most of my families. Kids are getting tired and hungry and it takes a bit to get the food ready. I usually suggest some type of sensory play to help keep their little hands busy when we are busy ourselves. Keep it simple! A pot with noodles and a wooden spoon may just do the trick!
